Sony has announced the new Sony F800 music player to challenge iPod Touch running on Android 4.0.
If you’re a music fan then iPod Touch really isn’t your ideal choice. We know that iPod Touch has the amazing touch screen which you can navigate with your finger. But now the new Sony F800 music player also adopted the touch screen.
The reason why I prefer Sony F800, a new model from the once legend Walkman series, is its perfect sound effect, with the help of S-Master MX Digital amplifier, Clear Audio technology and X-Loud speaker system.
The Sony F800 will be running on Android 4.0 system, with a 3.5-inch touch screen, but the resolution is unknown yet. It’s available in either an 8GB, 16GB or 32GB flavors and the battery should return 20 hours of music playback and just over 4 hours for video.
Besides, Sony F800 is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, plus direct access to the Google Play store, which means you can install Office apps to view PowerPoint presentations. A maps app comes pre-installed along with a gallery and email app.
With the ability to view MP4 videos, you can also view PowerPoint on Sony F800 by saving PowerPoint as video format.
No word on pricing and release date for new yet, but it won’t be long to wait.
